Langaroo, an English eLearning platform for children and teens, required a complete redesign of its digital presence. With no analytics or UX research budget, I applied a Lean UX approach, relying on heuristic audits, competitor benchmarking, and stakeholder alignment.
The old site lacked impact and clarity. The hero failed to communicate unique selling points, CTAs blended into content, and mobile layouts forced excessive scrolling. Trust signals like the National Geographic Learning partnership and testimonials were hidden far below the fold, limiting their impact.
I restructured the homepage around a narrative that flowed from value proposition to credibility proof, then course offerings and CTAs. I also designed aggregator pages such as English for Kids and English for Youth, tailoring content and visuals for different user segments (parents of children vs. teenagers). The new design system was vibrant and approachable, with clear typography, engaging imagery, and mobile-first layouts that featured sticky CTAs and collapsible content.
The redesign created a stronger brand story, reduced friction for mobile users, and introduced a scalable page ecosystem for future course expansion.
